The upside to purchasing NGAC & GFAC carbon credits is that it reduces the available supply for business and thus forcing polluters to pay more. The higher this price is, the more likely they will be to reduce their emissions and pollute less. Analysts say that there will be a shortage and the more purchased by the voluntary market the better.
